In a space far removed from efficiency, skilled craftsmen meticulously create ALL JAPAN MADE items. From Wednesday, August 8th, the Authentic Casual section on the 7th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , will be hosting a Fundamental Promotion. New items from the 2018 Autumn/Winter season, as well as popular collaboration items, will be on display.


Founded in 2005 by Manabu Tsuyoshi, Fundamental is a Japanese brand. Based on the concept of "products that you grow to love the more you wear them," they create items with no compromises, focusing on world-class Japanese-made denim, and meticulously crafting details that cannot be replicated by mass production. The used-look processing, which they consider a crucial step in breathing new life into their products, is achieved through an astonishing number of steps to create a deep and rich appearance.


This promotion will feature items from the new Fall/Winter 2018 collection, focusing on patchwork designs using fabrics with different textures and indigo-colored pieces. The collection will also include intricately crafted garments reminiscent of traditional Japanese sashiko stitching and boro (ragged fabrics), showcasing the brand's full appeal.

Furthermore, the popular collaboration project, which takes place every season, will feature sneakers and sandals from VANS, as well as coveralls and pants from Dickies. Be sure to check out these collaborative items that leverage the strengths of both brands.
