In our last blog post , we shared a letter from CHALIE addressed to all of you. As he mentioned in his letter, Steiff teddy bears have an exceptionally comforting look and feel. This exceptional comfort can only be truly appreciated by actually holding and hugging them, so please come to the gallery and give the teddy bears a big hug! Furthermore, did you know that there's a secret hidden in the tag attached to the ear of each Steiff bear?

Studio Bobby 120: ¥183,600

First, there's the "yellow tag + red text" option.
This is an attachment found on standard products. There are no quantity restrictions on production during the period listed in the Steiff catalog.

Teddy Bear Club I: ¥50,760

Next is "white tag + red text".
This tag is attached to limited edition items with production limits, such as those limited to a specific region, quantity, or year. Most limited edition items, excluding replicas, fall into this category. The tag also displays the year of production and a serial number. If you find an item with this tag, be sure to check it.

Dicky bear replica, 1930, blond, ¥45,360

Finally, there's the "white tag with black lettering" attached to the body, not the ear.
Products with this tag are replicas of Steiff products from the early 1900s. Even if the design is the same, if the size, materials, etc., are different, this tag cannot be attached. This tag also has a serial number printed on it!
