Experience the history of Steiff, a brand born approximately 140 years ago—from Wednesday, July 11th, the Steiff for Men exhibition at CHALIE VICE promotion will be held on the 8th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , at Isetan Men's Residence. This will be a special opportunity to fully enjoy the world of Steiff, featuring limited edition items released in the past and rare, non-sale items.

"Dickie Bear Replica 1930" *Not for sale
This replica faithfully reproduces the popular bear that debuted in 1930, down to the materials, buttons, and tags. It features a smiling face and printed paw prints. A built-in squeaker makes a squeaking sound when its belly is pressed.

Founded in 1880, Steiff is a German luxury plush toy brand. In 1902, they designed a teddy bear made of long-haired mohair with movable arms and legs, creating the world's first teddy bear, "55PB." When then-President Roosevelt of the United States used a teddy bear as a display at a state dinner, it became known as the "teddy bear," after the president's nickname, Teddy, and subsequently became a huge craze.

Left: "Il Veneziano" *Not for sale. The fourth in the "Margarete Steiff Edition," exclusive to Steiff Club members. This bear, inspired by the Venetian masquerade ball, is a testament to the lavish use of Swiss metal fiber technology and the skills of master craftsmen.

Right: "Teddy Bear Karl Lagerfeld" *Not for sale. This bear was produced by Karl Lagerfeld, a world-renowned designer and photographer. The bear is meticulously crafted with attention to detail, wearing a jacket made from the same fabric as his dresses, sunglasses from his own brand, a belt with rhinestones, a silk tie, and a tie pin made of Swarovski crystals.

What remains unchanged even after more than 100 years is a deep love for children, a passion for creating only authentic products, and unwavering dedication. To uphold this tradition, Steiff products, made under strict quality control, bear the trademark "button in ear."

Left: "Classic Teddy Bear 1920" ¥35,640
This teddy bear, a reproduction of a design that first appeared in 1920, has long been a staple in the lineup. Its durable construction, materials, and timeless design are characteristic of Steiff. It also contains a growler (squeak) that makes a sound when you turn it upright.

This bear, which debuted in 1930 and became very popular, has been faithfully reproduced, from the fabric and stuffing to the button and tag on its left ear. It features a smiling face and printed paw prints on its hands and feet, and has a built-in squeaker that makes a squeaking sound when you press its stomach.

This promotion, held at THE GALLERY by CHALIE VICE on the 8th floor of Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building will showcase Steiff bears with a "cuteness that isn't overly cute" that men with a discerning lifestyle will want to display in their rooms.
