As gunsmiths and armorers, Forelpage has possessed expertise in leatherworking since its founding. This is because bags have always played a vital role in both warfare and hunting, serving to store weapons and carry ammunition, food, game, boots, and other equipment.

The current collection is derived from belt pouches for ammunition, large and small haversacks, shoulder bags, handbags, game bags, and bucket-shaped ammunition pouches. The Maison's "standard" items are produced in its many historic ateliers, just as they were in the past. And the collection is expanding beyond its "hunting grounds," its limited territory, adding new "weapons for seduction," and continuing to grow in richness.


Furthermore, the material used for the bag's body is a canvas fabric that has been printed and coated. It is lightweight, durable, and water-resistant, and has been used in hunting leather goods for this purpose. The "écaille" toile (fabric), printed using a process similar to traditional Lyon-style silkscreen and silk finishing techniques, is then treated with waxing and graining (a process that gives the surface a rough texture). These processes result in a unique suppleness, a fine texture, and strong durability.
