Pocket watch No. 36, made in 1778

Arnold & Son was founded in London in 1764. Its founder, John Arnold, is considered a genius watchmaker, along with Breguet of France, and it is said that John Arnold played a key role in supporting the prosperity of the British Empire, which dominated the seas in the 18th century.

Arnold & Son's production base is the La Joux-Perret factory, located on the outskirts of La Chaux-de-Fonds. The factory utilizes both old and new generations of machine tools to increase efficiency, but decoration and assembly are done entirely by hand. Combining traditional, skilled handcrafting with cutting-edge technology, they produce fewer than 1,000 exclusive watches per year. While many manufacturers use the same caliber across multiple models, Arnold & Son adheres to a "one model, one movement" policy, creating watches that maximize the beauty of each individual model, which is another appealing aspect of their brand.
