You want to express your gratitude, but saying "thank you" formally feels a bit awkward... This Father's Day, why not give a watch as a gift along with your heartfelt thanks? For dads who already have a favorite watch they always wear, selecting a slightly more special timepiece will allow them to wear one to match the occasion and their mood, so they're sure to appreciate it no matter how many they already own.
This time, we'll be featuring ULTRA from France, located on the 8th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , in the Isetan Men's Residence/Watch Corner.

SUPER AUTOMATIC (Silver Sunray)

69,660 yen

Stainless steel case: 38mm diameter, silver dial, automatic movement

Altra was founded in 1947 by Pierre Mayadet. The Mayadet family, the founding family, has a history of creating automata for royalty and nobility in the 18th century as partners of the prestigious watchmaking family Jaquet Droz. To carry on this tradition of precision mechanical manufacturing, Altra was started in Besançon, in eastern France.
This is a highly capable brand that once manufactured clocks for Citroën and even produced its own movements, but temporarily suspended operations due to the impact of the quartz crisis and other factors, before making a comeback in 2012.

The "Super Automatic," a historical model from Altra's golden age in the 1940s, features a sunray-finished curved dial that exudes a classic feel. Furthermore, the curved hands, designed to match the dial, ensure excellent legibility.
This pen blends seamlessly into both business and casual styles, and its ease of use is also highly praised.

From Wednesday, May 30th Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , 8th floor will also be featuring a selection of watches perfect as Father's Day gifts, so be sure to check it out.
