From May 3rd (Thursday, public holiday), Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1st floor = Seasonal Goods & Accessories will be showcasing the new Spring/Summer 2018 collection from GREE and hosting a hat pattern order event.

Hat: 27,000 yen

Hat designer Guri Uchiyama handles everything from design and material selection to finishing for this brand. All patterns are made using three-dimensional cutting, and several types of interlining are used to maximize the beautiful lines. The hats have a sophisticated feel, yet are made with the shape of Japanese heads in mind, resulting in a comfortable fit that goes right over your head.


With "clean" as its theme for Spring/Summer 2018, this season's lineup features stylish hats made from natural materials such as Ecuadorian Panama straw (a summer staple), raffia, and bao. In addition to hats made from natural straw that incorporate rope as an embellishment, and the brand's classic foldable fedora made from raffia, a foldable baseball cap made from the same material will also be available. Furthermore, the collection will also feature playful designs in woven hats, with Irish or Lithuanian linen used for the outer fabric and African prints from the brand's collection for the lining.

At this pattern order event, we will have 10 base hat models available, and you can order your preferred combination from more than 10 types of materials and more than 30 types of ribbons. We will also be accepting size orders for the new collection free of charge. Furthermore, designer Guri Uchiyama will be visiting during the event to listen to customers' preferences and provide advice on ordering and sizing.
