The Mobile Suit Gundam x ISETAN "WELCOME TO ZEON" event, which was held at the event hall and banquet room on the 7th floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, finally kicked off. Despite the torrential rain that hit early in the morning on April 25th (Wednesday), the first day of the event, the venue was filled with an electric atmosphere of excitement.
This time, Nakata, the planning manager of the Sports Sales Department, who also appeared in the [Gunpla Roundtable] and openly declares himself a Gundam fan, will provide his own report on the venue's highlights! We'll deliver content that will make you want to visit not just once, but many times during the event.

►Checkpoint ① Pay attention to the left side of the venue entrance!

While you may be eager to enter the venue and restaurants, try to contain your excitement first. Take some time to admire the portraits of the five members of the Xabi family displayed in the entrance.
Many of you are probably wondering, "Why Isetan and Zeon for this event?" This time, we've focused on the Battle of Loum, where the Principality of Zeon achieved victory. Therefore, Zeon is the main concept, and the venue is decorated to resemble a celebration hall commemorating the victory at the Battle of Loum.
To allow our guests to immerse themselves in the magnificent world of Mobile Suit Gundam, we've recreated the atmosphere of the immediate aftermath of the Battle of Loum near the entrance. Did you see your favorite character?

►Checkpoint ② The room of the Red Comet, Char Aznable, appears!?

Char Aznable is a character from "Mobile Suit Gundam" who has many fans.
This space was created by Isetan with the serious intention of imagining what Char Aznable's room might look like. What do you think? His iconic red military uniform and white suit are on display. Of course, his trademark white helmet is also featured.
Perhaps Char Aznable secretly keeps a portrait of Artesia...? What kind of things are on his desk, and what kind of desk and chair does he use? What's on his bookshelf...? Please take your time and look closely at every detail.
