Los Angeles' jewelry scene is a veritable oasis of brilliance. Talent and ideas from all over the world constantly converge there, giving rise to new brands. Robert G. Keith, who had been active as a photographer, founded Hoorsenbuhs in 2005 in the very place where jewelry culture is said to flourish. The unique brand name is derived from the name of a Dutch merchant ship that Keith's ancestors used to transport precious metals in the 16th century.
Shortly after its founding, Hoorsenbuhs began to make a name for itself in the highly competitive jewelry market. Creators involved in top-tier entertainment such as fashion, music, and film began to unanimously praise its work.

The brand's iconic motif is the "Trilink," inspired by 1970s jewelry. This simple yet timeless modern design is handcrafted by artisans in a Los Angeles workshop. The rings and bracelets, with their smooth, flowing curves, can be layered without being ostentatious and easily incorporated into dressy outfits. There is an understated aesthetic at play.
