SHELLMAN

Founded in 1971 in Ginza, Tokyo, Shellman has been a pioneer in antique watches in Japan, handling numerous masterpieces to this day.
Based on that discerning eye for aesthetics, the "Shellman Original Watch" was developed in collaboration with a domestic manufacturer.

Shellman
Grand Complication Classic
139,320 yen
Stainless steel case: 40mm diameter, quartz movement, 3 ATM water resistance.

A quartz watch equipped with four practical complex functions.

Features such as perpetual calendars that automatically adjust for leap years and months with varying lengths, minute repeaters and split-second chronographs that indicate the current time with sound, and moon phases. These ultra-complicated watches, known as grand complications, are the dream of watch enthusiasts, but their complexity and the rarity of the craftsmen who create them generally make them prohibitively expensive.
Shellman creates watches that are both practical and high-quality, yet affordable, by incorporating highly complex mechanisms into their quartz timepieces, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in the dial and exterior.

Made in Japan craftsmanship

The movements for the Shellman Original Watch Series are assembled in a workshop in southern Nagano Prefecture.
Each watch, from setting the dial and hands to the final adjustments, is meticulously handcrafted by a select group of highly skilled artisans, recognized as "Contemporary Master Craftsmen" by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare.

Its quality is undeniably recognized in Switzerland, a leading country in watchmaking. It has received numerous accolades and has achieved the remarkable feat of being permanently exhibited at the world's most prestigious watchmaking museum, the La Chaux-de-Fonds International Watch Museum in Switzerland.
