THE GALLERY by CHALIE VICE is showcasing the works of illustrator Tadaomi Shibuya from Wednesday, March 7th to Tuesday, March 27th. Additionally, on Saturday, March 17th and Sunday, March 18th, Mr. Shibuya himself will be visiting the store and giving a live demonstration of his creative process as part of a special event.


The paintings, created using vibrant acrylic paints, look almost like graphic designs from a distance. Illustrator Tadaomi Shibuya produces powerful and realistic images with his unique touch and dynamic use of color. Many people have probably seen his work somewhere before.

His highly original paintings have led to collaborations with famous fashion brands and numerous opportunities for solo and group exhibitions around the world.


Having grown up in Yokohama and heavily influenced by hip-hop and the robot anime he watched in his childhood, his artwork is simply "The Man." He uses bold compositions to depict things and experiences that men are bound to become obsessed with at some point in their lives, things that are like an eternal bible for men.


In this promotion, in addition to exhibiting and selling artist Shibuya's works, we have been given the special opportunity to have Mr. Shibuya create a one-of-a-kind original artwork based on the customer's own face.
