Two weeks of the Flower Festival: Enjoy flower arrangements with all five senses.

--Could you tell us about the decorations for the "Flower Festival" starting on Wednesday the 21st?

Inspired by the "black x yellow (gold)" color scheme of Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 's fashion direction, and considering the season, we've used cherry blossom pink as the main color, adding preserved black plumeria flowers. Mixing black flowers, which don't actually exist, with pink gives the overall impression a sharp, refined look.

To suit this limited-time event, the decorations are designed to encapsulate the changing seasons. While we use a semi-fresh arrangement of Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms, we capture the scene of "when the cherry blossoms begin to fall." We express the "few hours before the blossoms start to fall," a moment rarely seen with real cherry blossoms.

—What
are your impressions of the decorated 5th floor, which is the business clothing floor?

My vision for the 5th floor is a place that proposes new business styles and offers "ready-to-wear" real clothes. While paying attention to the feel of the materials, comfort, and delicate color palettes, it's also very practical, leaving room for that "extra something."

— What do you mean by "the space for a plus one"?

While this is a proposal for business style, a battleground for men, it's not about a flawless, perfect coordination. Instead, it incorporates playful elements like pocket squares and braces, and even ties with floral patterns. The key to the decoration is adding floral elements to it. We hope our customers will come feeling as if they are decorating the flower hole of their jacket with flowers.
