Sake brewed on the morning of February 4th, the first day of spring.
As the name suggests, "Risshun Asa Shibori" is sake pressed in the early morning of February 4th, the first day of spring, purified by a Shinto priest at a shrine, and delivered on the same day. On this auspicious day welcoming the new spring, you can drink freshly pressed new sake that has been purified and is believed to bring happiness throughout the year.
"Risshun Asa Shibori," a sake brewed at 43 breweries across Japan, is generally only available in the region where it is sourced, as local liquor stores pick it up directly from the brewery. However, this time, Isetan staff will be taking express trains to the brewery themselves! The "Risshun Asa Shibori" we'll be bringing you this time is "Hakuba Nishiki," a local sake from Nagano Prefecture. Please enjoy the fresh taste, brought directly from the brewery, on the same day!

This unpasteurized sake was pressed on the morning of the first day of spring. Because it is not pasteurized and no water is added, it delivers a vibrant freshness and the fruity aroma inherent in the rice directly from Nagano Prefecture.
