[Interview] The warm, organic sound is what defines Martin's character - Hiroshi Fujiwara（3/3）



What kind of changes did Martin bring to a master who has truly lived and breathed the guitar?

"There haven't been any major changes. However, I would say that the guitar has become more accessible to me. As I explained earlier, the '000-ECHF' is a small model that is easy to pick up and hold. By keeping it in the living room or elsewhere, I can easily grab it and play it whenever I want. Being able to start playing without stress at any given moment is something I find very desirable."

The live performance was a session style featuring vocalist and guitarist Hiroshi Fujiwara and keyboardist Hidefumi Ino.

Music has infinite possibilities. However, the most important thing is to start. That's why it's ideal to have an instrument you can call your partner close at hand. Just having a guitar can open up a whole new world. This "Talk & Acoustic Live" was a session style performance by vocalist and guitarist Hiroshi Fujiwara and Fender Rhodes player Hideshi Ino. Despite the minimal configuration of guitar and piano, their harmonies were powerful and filled the residence with a rich sound. Between performances, witty talk and banter between Fujiwara and Hideshi Ino were woven in, adding a perfect balance to the live performance. Among them was a memorable remark by Hiroshi Fujiwara.

"There were times when I felt a little lonely continuing to play the guitar. But since I started jamming with Ino-kun, I've come to appreciate the depth of music anew."
