Just like with a coat, apply pressure and brush vigorously. Ishikawa brushes are soft yet firm, so there's no need to worry about the surface becoming fuzzy.



"Some people try to remove pilling by plucking it or cutting it with scissors, but that thins the fabric of knit products. Pilling is simply tangled yarn. You can easily untangle it by carefully brushing your clothes," says Ishikawa.


[Take care of your brushes sometimes too]

For regular maintenance, simply gently stroke the brush with your fingertips after use, and the dust will fall off naturally. If you're particularly concerned about dust accumulating at the base of the brush, "you can use a pointed comb to remove any accumulated dust."




[Pay attention to the hangers as well]

Since you've gone to the trouble of cleaning it with a high-quality brush, you'll want to choose a good hanger for storage as well.

The hanger on the right has its wooden section carved from a single piece of wood, so there are no joints, and it will not deteriorate easily even after many years of use. Also, the part where you hang your pants is fixed, making it relatively sturdy.
