On the evening of November 23rd (Thursday), a public recording of J-WAVE's popular program "ACROSS THE SKY" (Sundays, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM), which is based on the concept of radio that gives you a taste of the world, was held at a special studio in the I-Garden on the rooftop of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. Titled ISETAN presents RADIO MAKE it HAPPY! with J-WAVE "ACROSS THE SKY", the event also featured a mini-live performance by New York-based jazz trumpeter Takuya Kuroda as a special guest.

The fun talk and mini-live performance with program navigator Hyunri will be aired on Sunday, December 10th, in the "WORLD CONNECTORS" segment of J-WAVE's "ACROSS THE SKY" (9:20 AM - 9:40 AM).

The publicly recorded ISETAN presents RADIO MAKE it HAPPY! with J-WAVE "ACROSS THE SKY" was held with J-WAVE listeners and Isetan customers in attendance. In conjunction with this year's Mitsukoshi Isetan Christmas campaign, the show, themed "MAKE it HAPPY!", began with a talk between jazz trumpeter Takuya Kuroda and navigator Hyunri. Tune in to hear the full broadcast on December 10th (Sunday)!

Furthermore, at Takuya Kuroda's mini-live performance, he performed with a three-piece band consisting of electric guitar and acoustic bass, playing songs from his latest album "Zigzagger," as well as "Starting Five," the theme song for TV Asahi's "Hodo Station," and an arranged version of the Christmas song "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," which he performed live on NHK General TV's "Asaichi" last year, affectionately known as "Funky Santa." It was a special time, enveloped in a warm atmosphere despite the cold weather.

Furthermore, Isetan Men's Net conducted interviews in conjunction with this public recording. We asked them about their "MAKE it HAPPY!" stories and the gifts they selected at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building for J-WAVE listeners, so be sure to check that out along with the broadcast!
