This pop-up shop offers a chance to fully experience Kumagai's worldview through rare Native American jewelry, Navajo rugs, and more. The fixtures and decorations adorning the shop are also "authentic" items that Kumagai personally sourced. And to allow visitors to fully appreciate the allure of turquoise blue, a wide selection of blue-themed items is available.

LA's "All Rose" is a workshop and textile shop that designs objects and spaces using craft techniques such as woodworking, welding, sewing, and weaving. The jackets are remade with indigo-dyed textiles from vintage kendo uniforms, representative of Japanese kendo. It's a new design that connects Japan and America. The selection from Japan includes pottery from Usuda Pottery Studio, which has a kiln in Mori-machi, Shizuoka Prefecture. With its mystical and deep lapis lazuli color, it boasts a beauty comparable to turquoise. These are items that embody the concept of Ciaopanic Country Mall, where you can feel the warmth of the craftsman, and which will likely become vintage in 10 years.


"But you know, you shouldn't polish vintage items. I want people to appreciate the weight of history and the unique character they possess."

Mr. Kumagai laughed, regretting having polished his Navajo bracelet from the late 1800s, yet the gleaming bracelet was on his right arm that day. His carefree enjoyment of jewelry, with its turquoise ring, bangle, and even a Naja, exuded a sense of mature confidence.
