LUIGI BORRELLI was founded in Naples, Italy in 1957. At a time when most shirts were flat and stiffly sewn, the company thoroughly studied the human body and perfected its shirts by skillfully combining machine sewing and handwork, resulting in shirts that conformed to the body's shape and offered the ultimate comfort. These shirts, meticulously sewn by skilled craftsmen, are still talked about today as beloved masterpieces around the world.
In 1980, Fabio Borrelli, Luigi Borrelli's eldest son, joined the company and began producing ties to complement the shirts, which had become the world's most famous.
