We can now truly feel the arrival of autumn. What comes to mind when you think of autumn? Autumn with its changing leaves, autumn with delicious food, autumn for sports, autumn for reading... Everyone has their own unique image of autumn, don't they?

This time, from Wednesday, October 4th to Tuesday, October 31st, THE GALLERY by CHALIE VICE will be introducing you to the "Autumn of Music" through the acoustic guitar manufacturer MARTIN.


MARTIN was founded by Christian Frederick Martin, a German. Born into a family of furniture makers, he began making guitars at the age of 15 as an apprentice to a guitar maker. In 1833, he decided to emigrate from Germany to America to pursue guitar making.
After moving, Martin's history began when he opened a small shop in New York.

Celebrating its 184th anniversary this year, Martin has had a long and rich history, profoundly influencing artists who enjoy immense popularity across generations and eras around the world, and continues to be loved to this day.

Even now in 2017, Martin continues to rewrite history. It seems that it holds a special place in the hearts of our very own CHALIE VICE. We'd like to share with you a letter from CHALIE VICE overflowing with love for Martin.


As autumn colors deepen, how are you all doing?

You probably already know that I absolutely love music.
I've traveled all over the world since I was young, but visiting live music venues in each place was one of the things I enjoyed most.
And I was also struck by the fact that all the musicians playing there were using Martin guitars.

I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be introducing this quintessential acoustic guitar, beloved by living legends like Bob Dylan and Eric Clapton, right here in my office.
