An explanation of the impromptu autumn/winter trench coat style.

Now, let's begin the special edition of "Stylish Dojo Side Story" for "Tokyo Men's Fest 2017 @ Isetan." The models are mannequins, but we have prepared six styles.

Sealup Trench Coat: ¥162,000

I'm wearing an olive-colored coat from Sealup, a Milanese coat manufacturer, paired with a striped T-shirt and bandana from Hollywood Ranch Market, and white jeans. It has a modern silhouette typical of Milanese factories, with a knee-length hem (just under 100cm). The brushed cotton fabric gives it a nice, soft feel, and the collar stands up nicely. I think it's a very versatile coat.

MACKINTOSH LONDON
Trench coat: 151,200 yen

This double-breasted coat from MACKINTOSH LONDON is characterized by its use of "Gabardine 330," a high-density, super water-repellent material. It's firm yet thin and supple, and it's recommended because it holds its shape well when worn. For styling, a knit from MAISON KITSUNE is a great choice. The image is "modern mod," with a slightly cute London-esque nuance.

ES:S
Trench coat ¥95,040

This is a coat from the Japanese brand ES:S a special order for Isetan Men's. It's a big silhouette trench coat made from thick fabric originally intended for vests, with a length of 116cm. It has a substantial feel and a beautiful silhouette, and when viewed from the side, the wide hem makes you want to wear it.

MACKINTOSH LONDON
Trench coat: 216,000 yen

This is a long, 120cm long tie-lock coat from MACKINTOSH LONDON with metal hardware. The raglan sleeves give it a military feel, and the fabric has a masculine texture, but by styling it in an olive green and brown gradient, it also gives off a soft impression.

Aquascutum
Trench coat: 140,400 yen

This single-breasted trench coat from Aquascutum is a modern take on an archive design. Its flattering silhouette makes it highly versatile, easily paired with everything from a gray suit to a casual denim jacket.

Aquascutum
Trench coat: 205,200 yen

Aquascutum 's iconic trench coat, "Kingsgate," is a model that incorporates plenty of military details. I wanted to wear green pants, so I added mustard-colored ones. The turtleneck underneath is my own, and I tried out a new color combination.

I always think, "Even with the same coat, I don't want to wear it the same way as last year; I want to wear it in a way that's as different as possible." I try to create interesting outfits and think about a new rhythm to my style.
