The "NEW BRIDGE" suit and jacket collection legitimately inherits the DNA of the "Dunkeld" signature coat, which was introduced in the first installment of MACKINTOSH LONDON series. Buyer Yuki Yamaura recommends it, saying, "The Dunkeld's silhouette, which pursues simplicity to the extreme, is a perfect example of 'small differences make a big difference.' The New Bridge collection also features items that are typical of MACKINTOSH LONDON and are not influenced by trends."

A style that brings out the "elegance and approachability" essential for business.

As the main line of Mackintosh, MACKINTOSH LONDON offers a total collection that includes not only the iconic rubberized coats but also a wide range of men's items. Based on British classics, it adds contemporary elements and proposes a modern style with a strong emphasis on quality.

A prime example of such "authentic items with timeless value" is the suit from "Newbridge." Based on traditional British style, it achieves a modern silhouette with natural shoulders and a light, comfortable feel. It is a flagship model that embodies contemporary classicism.

Focus on the details that make all the difference, in pursuit of authenticity.

The jackets from "New Bridge" feature a beautifully defined shoulder line (the line from the shoulders to the neck), and the silhouette flowing from this shoulder line creates a masculine chest and a toned look, while the lightweight feel and ease of movement support a "relaxed feeling."

Furthermore, the parallel shoulder line and gorge line (the line connecting the collar and lapel) not only create a clean V-zone but also project the "honesty and, in a good sense, seriousness" that is expected of a suit. It brings out the refined and approachable qualities essential for business.

The chest area uses high-quality Irish linen and genuine horsehair interlining, while the lining is made of highly absorbent cupro. Genuine buffalo horn buttons are also used, demonstrating the "small details make a big difference" philosophy from the inside out.

"Weather worsted wool" offers functionality while maintaining elegance.

One material worth noting is "Weather Worsted Wool," a new material developed inspired by Mackintosh cloth. While maintaining a commitment to 100% natural wool, it also features special processing during the yarn and fabric manufacturing process to make it "water-repellent," allowing raindrops to fall off easily with just a light shake, and making it "wrinkle-resistant" and "oil-repellent." The trousers are also treated to help maintain a clean center crease line even in sudden rain.

The suits and jackets, born from a combination of the stylish form of "New Bridge" and the highly functional features of "Weather Worsted Wool" for business settings, also appeal to an elegance that allows "gentlemen to remain gentlemen."

Next time, we'll introduce the true essence of MACKINTOSH LONDON : the rubberized coat!
