Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 5th floor = Made to Measure will be hosting a measurement session on Sunday, August 20th, with talented young tailor Shigeaki Naoi.

Naoki, renowned for his tailoring that pursues masculinity and lightweight comfort, trained as a tailor for four years at one of Japan's leading long-established tailors in Ginza. After that, he worked on hand-sewn tailored garments for a men's brand, while simultaneously acquiring skills in pattern making and cutting. His style is not based on any Milanese, Florentine, or Neapolitan sartorial style, but rather he has built his own unique tailoring by actively incorporating the techniques and styles he deems necessary.

The suit that captivated Mr. Naoi, who has gained experience in various fields, is one with a beautiful tailoring that combines a masculine chest volume with a light and soft feel reminiscent of Neapolitan tailoring, without shoulder pads. In particular, the strength created by the broad shoulders and wide lapels, and the softness woven by the unique tailoring, make this a suit that perfectly embodies his style.
