From Wednesday, August 9th, Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , B1F, Men's Shoes will be hosting a limited-time promotion for PANTHER, a brand renowned as a representative "athletic shoe" of the Showa era. The event, which will run for one week until Tuesday, August 15th, will feature the pre-release of new items from the 2017 Autumn/Winter collection, as well as the full collection of PANTHER, which made a comeback last year after a long hiatus.

The Panther was born in 1964, the year of the Tokyo Olympics. To enhance reinforcement and hold, it was the first shoe in Japan to feature side stripes on canvas. Its sporty yet stylish design quickly became an unprecedented sensation, and it instantly became synonymous with training shoes.
