To maintain the water-repellent effect

There are two main ways to maintain water-repellent properties: daily care and preparation for rain.


■ Avoid touching the umbrella fabric as much as possible. <br> The fluorine coating on umbrella fabric is susceptible to oil. Therefore, touching it with your hands will reduce its effectiveness. Avoid touching the umbrella with hands that have sunscreen or hand cream on them.
When folding your umbrella, avoid touching it with your hands. Instead, gently pinch the folds to smooth them out and then fold it by holding the securing string. Be careful not to tighten it too much. Tightening it too much may remove the water-repellent coating.

■Prepare 2-3 umbrellas and rotate their use. <br>By rotating between 2-3 umbrellas rather than using the same one continuously, the number of times each umbrella is used decreases, and the water-repellent effect lasts longer.
Furthermore, during the rainy season and typhoon season, using the same umbrella continuously means it will remain wet for extended periods. We recommend always carrying two umbrellas so you can be prepared for sudden downpours.
