A legendary brand that elevated eyewear to the realm of art.

Eyewear, shoes, ties... these are the essential elements of a gentleman's style and lifestyle. They convey the thoughts and spirit of the maker, creating a sense of space to cherish and keep just for oneself. Even as times change, I don't want to abandon such discerning tastes.

Nicole, founded in 1967 by Mitsuhiro Matsuda, one of Japan's legendary designers, has left a significant mark not only in the fashion world but also in the history of eyewear. This is exemplified by the Mazda collection, which was launched in 1982 as an overseas-only collection.

Described as the "ultimate luxury eyewear brand," Mazda's defining characteristics are the craftsmanship of Japanese artisans and the use of carefully selected materials such as acetate, titanium, stainless steel, sterling silver, and 18K gold in all its products. It has also garnered attention for its delicate, artistic engravings and the complexity of its parts. Its use in the 1991 Hollywood film depicting a deadly battle between androids and humans brought it worldwide recognition.

In 2011, Mazda was reborn thanks to a redesign by an American design team. Its popularity is currently soaring worldwide, partly due to its appearance in the third film in a series about American comic book heroes. The sunglasses with windshields and the matte eyebrow type sunglasses feature beautiful engraving that tells the story of Mazda's 40-year history, proving that the tradition of meticulous craftsmanship is still being passed down in Japanese workshops.
