Since its founding, Shellman has handled numerous masterpieces from the past, but due to the nature of antique watches, complex timepieces are delicate and difficult to enjoy casually. Therefore, to allow people to easily enjoy the essence of ultra-complex timepieces, Shellman has launched an original watch developed in collaboration with one of Japan's leading watch manufacturers. This quartz watch combines complex functions born in the world of mechanical watches: a perpetual calendar, moon phase, minute repeater, and split-second chronograph. It was the world's first attempt to reproduce these four major complications using a quartz movement. It has won numerous awards and is part of the permanent collection at the International Watch Museum in La Chaux-de-Fonds.



The design adheres strictly to classic styles, with the case and hands based on masterpieces of antique watches. The dial also features a guilloché pattern recreated using modern technology, and the moon and stars in the moon phase display are not printed but instead rendered using the traditional technique of applying gold leaf.

The "Shellman Original Watch Series" is made at Citizen's Minami-Shinshu luxury watch workshop. It is hand-assembled by skilled craftsmen who hold the Super Meister qualification.
