Visvim, which held its first runway show at Pitti Immagine Uomo last June, reflected on its Spring/Summer 2017 collection. In an interview, director Hiroki Nakamura said, "It's a collection that mixes Japanese tradition and craftsmanship with the happy side of 1950s America, weaving together things I like such as Japanese style, cowboys, Westerns, and Native Americans."

During "PITTI IMMAGINE UOMO AT ISETAN MEN'S," which starts on Wednesday, February 1st, you can "experience" Visvim's latest collection at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1st floor = promotion area from Wednesday, February 8th.


Visvim's endless appeal stimulates all five senses—you can see, feel, and buy.

Visvim was invited to the Special Designer Project at the 90th Pitti Immagine Uomo, held in Florence, Italy last June. The Special Designer Project is an event where Pitti presents projects by designers that it is paying attention to in a standalone runway format, and Visvim presented total collections for both men and women.

Director Hiroki Nakamura's reinterpretation of American workwear textiles, along with vintage-inspired denim and jeans, and shoe designs that are overwhelmingly popular with fans, created a collection full of Visvim's signature style and became a huge sensation locally.

This pop-up store will feature jackets, coats, and shirts made from handmade Japanese paper, a key item in the collection, as well as items with catchy motifs such as lightning bolts, bamboo patterns, and carp patterns.

In particular, the "happi" (traditional Japanese festival coat) with a Japanese aesthetic appears in various variations, symbolizing the "American vintage and Japanese aesthetic" that Hiroki Nakamura aims for.

Furthermore, the pop-up will feature a VR (Virtual Reality) booth where you can enjoy 360-degree panoramic video by wearing a headset. You can experience the excitement of the runway show held at the Boboli Gardens in Florence, Italy on June 16th last year.
