Since its founding in 1946, these hangers have been handcrafted with care by Japanese artisans for over 70 years. The prototype of the current hanger was created around 1980 through a joint development between a human anatomy research institution and Nakata Kogeisha. Its distinctive features include the curve from shoulder to shoulder tip, and the rounded shape of the shoulder tip and nape area. These curves closely resemble those of the human skeleton.

The shoulder thickness is 57mm, and the roundness of the shoulder is close to the bone structure of the shoulder. Therefore, when you hang a suit on a hanger, it will maintain a shape similar to when you are wearing it, allowing you to keep your valuable clothes in good condition for a long time.
