Adriano & Sons, a specialty store in Brescia, is known as the first store to bring Ralph Lauren to Italy. The owner, Adriano Fracassi, is an exceptionally well-dressed man, and his eldest son, Allen, is a true master of dress.


Allen : "From a young age, I would wear a white shirt, tie, and jacket when I played. Wearing good quality clothes was the norm, so even as a child, I had no problem wearing a tie. I thought that's what clothes were supposed to be like, and some customers who came into the store brought their children around my age, and they were all dressed similarly to me."

Having grown up surrounded by high-quality clothing, he has a discerning eye for it. Having only ever seen fine garments, it's easy for him to distinguish between good materials and superior craftsmanship. When he launched his own signature brand, he was always striving for the best in fabric and construction.

"Just as good olives produce high-quality olive oil, good materials make high-quality clothing. The quality of the materials is paramount."

Denim from Japan, wool from the UK. He sources the best materials he knows from around the world and incorporates them into his collections. He knows that to bring out the best in high-quality materials, the preparation method must also be meticulous. That's why he is so particular about the sewing as well.


"I have my suits made in a small workshop in Amalfi. My blousons are made in a factory near Milan that's very skilled. And for my trousers, there's an excellent factory in Veneto."

He is usually a quiet gentleman, but when the topic of clothing comes up, he becomes talkative. He always assembles the best possible team when creating his collections. This spirit has been carried on by "Doppia," which he launched last year with his friend Alberto Carreras.
