VALENTINO ROCKSTUD UNTITLED: Studs are used to secure the fabric where there are no stitches.

Last year, creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli visited Japan and drew inspiration from the Japanese "kintsugi" technique of repairing ceramics using gold, as well as the studs used on the doors of historical buildings scattered throughout Rome, his hometown, to create the iconic "VALENTINO ROCKSTUD UNTITLED" collection for Valentino.

The "numbering" that has been a hot topic in the stage decorations is linked to the items, with #1 being a beige trench coat, #7 a cashmere crewneck sweater, #11 sneakers, #14 a souvenir jacket, #18 a denim shirt, and #19 a denim jacket.

Furthermore, what really catches the eye at ROCKSTUD UNTITLED is the all-black series "ROCKSTUD UNTITLED noir" which will be released in the Spring/Summer 2017 collection. The black material is beautifully adorned with gunmetal-like ruthenium studs.
