On Sunday, September 25th, Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 5th floor = Made to Measure will host a fitting event for HIDEAKI SATO, led by tailor Hideaki Sato, who also runs "Pecora Ginza." Mr. Sato himself will be in attendance on the day.

Born in Tateyama as the third generation of a tailor family, he learned the fundamentals in Japan before moving to France in 1988. He gained experience as a pattern maker and then spent five years from 1990 training at the Milan tailor "Mario Pecora." After returning to Japan in 2000, he opened "Pecora Ginza" and became a pioneer in spreading authentic French-style suits throughout Japan.

The garments created by Mr. Sato are characterized by a moderately soft and voluminous chest area, a shaped waist, and a rounded form typical of Italian style, making them comfortable to wear even when you're not feeling tired. Furthermore, his style, which involves a high proportion of handwork and uses highly difficult techniques that are not possible in typical factory production, achieves the beautiful tailoring of a bespoke suit even in made-to-measure garments.
