[Interview] Designer Ichiro Suzuki | The Other "ICHIRO"

Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 5th Floor = Made to Measure will be hosting a fitting event with Ichiro Suzuki on both August 6th (Sat) and 7th (Sun). Mr. Ichiro Suzuki will also be visiting the store on those days.

Originally from Osaka Prefecture, Mr. Suzuki was the first Japanese cutter at Henry Poole, a tailor on Savile Row in the UK. After studying at the London College of Fashion, he completed a Master's degree in Menswear at the Royal College of Art's Fashion Department. He worked as a cutter at Henry Poole while still a student, and in 2012, he won the Grand Prix in the fashion category of "ITS (International Talent Support) 2012," one of Europe's largest fashion competitions. He is currently active as a member of the menswear design team for a French designer brand.

Enjoy a fresh take on a garment that combines the masculine style characteristic of Savile Row, the mecca of bespoke menswear, with the modern and elegant sensibilities of Paris, as proposed by Mr. Suzuki, using carefully selected fabrics.
