The setting is summer in Italy, a holiday spent gazing at the sea. If I were to sip a glass at my favorite restaurant, I would choose white wine. My reason for doing so isn't simply because it pairs well with the food.

From Wednesday, July 20th to Tuesday, August 9th, THE GALLERY by CHALIE VICE will present "Fine Wine Reflecting the Sea," showcasing CHALIE's selection of white wines perfect for summer, paired with Venetian glassware to complement their flavors.


We have a selection of wines that will satisfy both your eyes and your palate, perfect for enjoying along the Italian coast. These include a crisp white wine with tropical fruit aromas that you can savor by the sea, a white wine with a hint of saltiness, and even a white wine with a subtle hint of wasabi that surprised CHALIE!

Furthermore, CHALIE always carries her favorite glass that suits the city she's visiting when she travels. This year, she visited her friend Giberto in Florence, Italy, and brought back some rare and traditional glasses to introduce to her friends in Japan.


Aman Canal Grande Venice in Venice stands out as a particularly distinctive location among the many Aman resorts.
This magnificent 16th-century building has been transformed into a superb hotel while retaining its original charm. Mr. Gibert, who lives in the hotel's top floor as his private residence, is the building's former owner and an avid collector of Venetian glass. Moreover, drawing inspiration from artistic creations and majestic beauty gained through his travels, he also creates his own Venetian glass.

Enjoy the colorful and unique wine glasses crafted by Mr. Gibert, paired with a white wine selected and recommended by CHALIE, who has traveled the world sampling wines. We highly recommend trying them together.
