SUPERGA | The model worn by the 1976 French Open tennis champion is being reissued in a limited edition of 240 pairs.

Italian casual sneaker brand Superga has reissued the "2750-COT PANNATA" model tennis shoe, which was worn by Adriano Panatta when he won the 1976 French Open. Available in five colors, a limited edition of 240 pairs in Japan will be released on Wednesday, June 15th. It is also available at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 6th floor, in the contemporary casual section.

In the 1970s, Superga manufactured many athletic shoes under the "SUPERGA Sports" category, including tennis shoes, as well as shoes for volleyball, soccer, basketball, and running.
The iconic side stripe, known as the "Swallow Tail Logo," is inspired by a swallow's tail, and the tongue is engraved with the name of player Adriano Panatta. The upper's woven label and heel label feature "SUPERGA Sports," a mark of the sports line.

It's a perfect match for the trendy street sports mix style. Furthermore, the chic color scheme fits well with monochrome suits and jacket styles, making it a versatile piece that will work with almost anything.
