"Japan Senses" aims to rediscover and promote the positive aspects of Japan that are recognized globally, as new values.

JIL SANDER design team focused on the Japanese people's love for wood, and what they found particularly beautiful was the traditional and robust building material technique of "yakisugi" (charred cedar).
Inspired by "yakisugi" (charred cedar wood), the "FIRE" capsule collection expresses its unique colors and textures in a modern way using Japanese-made denim and jersey techniques. It pursues Jil Sander's essence of "meticulous craftsmanship" without compromise. This time, at the Shinjuku Main Store = The Stage, we will be offering a pre-sale of the new men's and women's collection, exclusive to Japan, which was created with a deep admiration for Japanese denim creations.

At The Stage on the first floor of the main building, you can enjoy the world of "burnt cedar" that Jil Sander pursues, with decorations inspired by the exterior walls of an old house in Okayama and images of "flames" projected onto them.
