SOLAKZADE will be holding a trunk show at the International Luxury section on the 4th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building .

SOLAKZADE is Japan's first and only vintage eyewear specialty store, founded in Osaka in 2005 by brothers Ryuichi Okamoto and Ryu Okamoto.
They directly visit the warehouses of former distributors and old eyewear shops not only in Japan but also around the world to purchase and distribute their products. Their stock exceeds 10,000 frames, ranging from American brands such as Ray-Ban to vintage frames from renowned British and French fashion houses, and all of them are deadstock and unused. However, the two brothers aim to be more than just a store that sells vintage items.

SOLAKZADE, true to its philosophy of building personal connections with customers through face-to-face service, maintains a style of "selecting" items that suit each customer from its vast collection through dialogue with them in-store. Particularly as a way to enjoy vintage items, they not only convey the background of each product, such as the shapes, details, and material characteristics of each era and country, but also go so far as to propose styles that "suit" the customer, taking into account how they will be perceived socially through their face, fashion, and lifestyle.


This trunk show, the fourth of its kind at Isetan Men's, offers a rare opportunity to see a carefully selected collection of deadstock items in excellent condition, primarily focusing on Cartier from the 1980s and American-made Ray-Ban from the 1960s and 70s, found at the former B&L/Bausch & Lomb distributor in Switzerland. The event runs from Wednesday, October 21st to Monday, November 2nd.
