The 88th PITTI IMAGINE UOMO, one of the world's leading menswear trade fairs, is being held from June 17th to 20th. More than 1,000 brands from approximately 30 countries around the world are participating, and around 30,000 buyers and press representatives from various countries are attending. Along with the exhibitions, various events are held, and the ancient city of Florence is completely immersed in fashion.
Isetan Men's has held four collaborative fairs with "PITTI IMAGINE UOMO" in the past (the next one is scheduled for late September to early October). At this time, Isetan Men's buyer team also conducts their Spring/Summer 2016 purchasing.


The theme for this year's event was "PITTI COLOR." The decorations were adorned with colorful hues, and the venue on the first day, blessed with fine weather, became even more vibrant with color.

Throughout the venue, various colors from the theme are incorporated into each item, but many brands are opting for calm, earthy tones such as khaki and brown for spring and summer. At the same time, the real trends of this summer are also clearly visible at the PITTI venue. Bright navy suits are key styling items, with sunglasses and Panama hats being widely supported, and sneakers remain popular. The high rate of "Stan Smith" wearers, in particular, indicates their continued popularity, and sneakers in jacket and trouser styles are becoming a new staple in styling.
