Vacheron Constantin will be holding the "EXPLORE" exhibition at The Stage on the 1st floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku Store for a limited time from Tuesday, July 8th to Wednesday, July 14th.

This exhibition showcases a selection of timepieces from Vacheron Constantin's historic collection, illustrating creativity inspired by geographical and cultural explorations, accompanied by animations by Chan Jiang. It invites viewers on a journey through a tradition that leads to new heights of iconic design, exceptional craftsmanship, and technological innovation.

A journey of exploration tracing history and tradition

The Maison's 2026 theme, "Explore All Ways Possible," surveys geographical, technological, and cultural elements. An open attitude toward the world has characterized the Maison since its founding, serving as a source of inspiration for new designs and decorative techniques. This dynamism has encouraged watchmakers to challenge new technological frontiers, driving them to tackle new challenges, particularly in terms of timekeeping accuracy and reliability. In this way, the Maison's name has become widely known across borders. Participation in international trade fairs and the trading journeys that François Constantin began in the early 19th century greatly boosted the Maison's creativity. This exhibition presents timepieces that tell the story of that journey.

"Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Point" - To overcome any adventure

The Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Point, a new model from the Overseas collection embodying the spirit of travel and adventure, is a 41mm titanium timepiece available in four colors, combining strength and lightness. The dial colors symbolize the four cardinal directions of the magnetic hand and the unknown landscapes that unfold beyond. White represents the ice-covered "North," brown the vast continents and plains of the "South," green reminiscent of deep forests and tropical jungles representing the "West," and blue the journey to the horizon of the "East" where the sea and sky meet. Furthermore, various finishes applied to the details, such as the grained dial, the circular satin-finished inner minute track, and the lacquered outer seconds track, create a sense of depth.

Collaboration with Chinese artist and illustrator Shang Jiang

Internationally acclaimed illustrator Shan Jian draws inspiration from his hometown of Shanghai into his work. His creations blend skyscrapers and single-story houses, ancient customs and traditions, contemporary concepts and ideas, and vibrant subcultures. His artistic inspirations are diverse, transcending time and borders. Backed by meticulous attention to detail and boundless imagination, his artistic approach resonates deeply with the Maison's values of continuously pursuing excellence and innovation through exploration.
