The "KINGSWAY Classic" is an Isetan Shinjuku store exclusive model that faithfully reproduces the trench coat that is considered the prototype for the popular "KINGSWAY" from 2024.

For 2025, Aquascutum has recreated a modern version of the model that preceded their masterpiece balmacaan coat, "FILEY." The material used is a soft and comfortable original tweed fabric from Bishu. The cuffs are tapered by taking darts in the front, and the hem is an A-line that flares slightly towards the front. It is a meticulously crafted piece that incorporates the techniques of Japanese sewing factories.

ABOUT|Aquascutum

Aquascutum was founded in 1851 in Mayfair, a wealthy residential area in England, by a tailor named John Emery. John Emery developed a groundbreaking fabric that was water-repellent yet always soft. The name Aquascutum is a portmanteau of the Latin words "aqua," meaning "water," and "scutum," meaning "shield," signifying waterproofing. Orders immediately poured in, and thus began the history of this prestigious brand. While upholding its traditions, Aquascutum continues to be committed to a balance of high quality and modernity.
