As autumn approaches, fashion lovers are naturally curious about the next trends. This time, GUIDE crew members Tsuchiya, Okada, and Tashiro visit Inaba, the men's clothing buyer at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , in search of the latest information on Fall/Winter 2025 wear. The second half of our "Adult Field Trip" focusing on clothing begins at a secret venue where hand-picked items from around the world and original designs are gathered!

Inaba, the men's tailored clothing buyer on the 5th floor of ISETAN MEN'S , selected recommended autumn/winter wear to suit the individual styles of three GUIDE crew members: Tsuchiya, Okada, and Tashiro. For Autumn/Winter 2025, the lineup is wide-ranging, from dressy to casual, featuring masterpieces from Italy, France, the UK, and other countries, as well as notable brands by Japanese designers. This season, pay particular attention to cashmere materials and the varying silhouettes of trousers from different brands. A wide variety of options are available, from suit sets and original pieces made with Japanese fabrics to custom-made and bespoke items.

Tsuchiya: A neat yet playful style with a jacket and checked pants.

Inaba : I'd really like Tsuchiya-san to try this jacket style. The navy jacket is made by the famous Italian factory "GIANFRANCO BOMMEZZADRI" in Parma, and is characterized by the refined finish of a factory that also handles sewing for luxury brands. I paired it with checked trousers from MASSIMO CORRADO in Naples, which were specially made for Isetan Shinjuku.

Tsuchiya : This is my first time trying playful checked pants, so I'm a little nervous, but I hear they're a trend this year.



Inaba : These trousers feature classic Neapolitan details around the waist and visor pockets, and are attractively priced. The silhouette is not too slim, and the hem is roomy, with adjustments made to suit the Japanese physique. They are easy to pair with loafers or sneakers, and the clean, straight-cut line is a key feature.


Tsuchiya : When you actually try it on, you really appreciate the quality of the material and the beautiful silhouette. The checked pants are more comfortable than I expected. It's also incredibly easy to move in.

Inaba : I highly recommend trying the jacket and checked pants style this year.

Okada: "A black coat created by a Japanese designer, showcasing the beauty of materials and playful design."

Inaba : I would recommend a black coat from TOHNAI , designed by Japanese designer Mr. Fujinai, to Okada-san. It's a product that makes use of deep knowledge of Japanese fabrics and techniques, and is characterized by its product-shrunk fabric processing. It elevates a material that was all the rage in the 90s into a modern style, resulting in a coat with a strong presence.

Okada: When I tried it on, it felt very light despite its voluminous appearance. The belt allows you to adjust the silhouette, and it's incredibly comfortable to wear.


Inaba : With its raglan sleeves and dropped shoulder design, it's recommended to pair it with cashmere knits or wool pants in winter. Black is the brand's key color. The lineup also includes hoodie coats and iconic models made from double-faced material.

Okada: This black coat is amazing because even though it's a long length which can often look sloppy, the material and cut make it look beautiful. The length is below the knee, which is well-balanced and expands the range of styling options.

Inaba: TOHNAI coats will be available in stores from the latter half of September. We'll also be holding a pop-up event in October, and we're planning a custom order event. Be sure to check it out!

Tashiro: "Teva jackets where Spanish tradition and modernity merge."

Inaba: I would definitely recommend the Teva jacket from Justo Gimeno of Spain to Tashiro-san. It's a historic hunting jacket with strong ties to the Spanish royal family. It has a classic feel, but its appeal lies in its lightness, making it easy to throw on like a coverall.

Tashiro: It's tailored like a shirt, so it looks like it would go well with a wide range of styles.


Inaba: In Spain, it's worn dressy with a shirt and tie, but in Japan, a more casual style is recommended. There are plenty of materials available, such as tweed checks, so having one will broaden your styling options.

Tashiro: It's refreshing because it can be used for both casual and formal occasions. I'd like to try it this season.

Inaba: We plan to gradually roll out our products in stores starting around the end of August. Popular items may sell out quickly, so please check them out and make your reservations as soon as possible.
