[Look] KENZO | KENZO BY NIGO presents its Spring/Summer 2026 collection in Paris.

KENZO BY NIGO presented its Spring/Summer 2026 collection in Paris. The historic Parisian restaurant Maxim's served as the venue for KENZO 's Spring/Summer 2026 season. Andy Warhol's "The Factory," Kenzo Takada's atelier in the 1970s, and the cultural community of artistic director NIGO— KENZO 's new collection is like a "cultural crossroads" connecting the past, present, and future.

"Club KENZO" depicts chance encounters and playful style. This season, KENZO is themed around summer romances that begin with a chance encounter, set in the free space of "Club KENZO." A KENZO Guy and a KENZO Girl who meet at the club share their wardrobes, influence each other's styles, and effortlessly transcend the boundaries of gender and genre.

Retro graphics and cartoon characters add a touch of humor to the clothing, while imaginative stories—like a tiger and a rabbit falling in love—add a unique twist to the collection's world. There are no rules to dressing; here, you are a VIP just for being there.

This new silhouette collection, a fusion of tailoring and subculture , blends Italian tailoring with punk elements and traditional Japanese craftsmanship to create a unique balance. For example, a hot pink dinner jacket, featuring a bold custom monogram lining, is elevated to sophisticated daywear. Japanese-style evening wear in satin fabrics also offers a new kind of elegance.

Furthermore, punk-inspired colors are added to military and workwear, and mother-of-pearl buttons and faux fur embellishments stand out as striking details. Homages to the past are scattered throughout, such as the chef shirt that Kenzo Takada once loved to wear and rounded bottoms that are reinterpretations of archive pieces.

The graphics weave a new story for KENZO , and the patterns and motifs are a major attraction of this season's collection. By layering bold shapes such as stars, checkerboards, and harlequins onto archives including floral prints from the early 1990s, a psychedelic worldview is created.

Furthermore, the handcrafted details such as airbrushing, screen printing, and studs, reminiscent of punk and DIY culture, are eye-catching. Some items have even been customized by the models themselves using markers.

Furthermore, the love story between the characters introduced last season, the rabbit "K@li" and the tiger "Quique," continues this season. Along with their children, Mimi, Jojo, and Zaza, KENZO 's graphic world expands even further.

The accessories, a mix of statement and humor , also embody the spirit of the collection. The slipper-style mules that appeared last season have been updated for men. The platform bowling shoes have snow globes built into the heels, resulting in a unique design that seems to defy gravity.

The belts feature humorous phrases, and the bags are freely customized with spray paint and patches on well-worn leather and canvas. NIGO's dedication to vintage items is evident.

Additionally, the 59FIFTY cap, a collaboration with New Era, is making a comeback. This capsule collection, featuring a new fit, further expands the fashion statement.

KENZO 's Spring/Summer 2026 collection celebrates the freedom of club culture and the serendipity of love, creating a "cultural playground" that traverses the past, present, and future. "Anything goes"—this season's KENZO collection truly liberates the boundaries between fashion and self-expression.
