VISVIM HARMONIOUS PROCESS

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of visvim, we will be holding "VISVIM HARMONIOUS PROCESS," an exhibition and sales event exploring the brand's manufacturing process, from September 3rd (Wed) to September 16th (Tue) at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building, 1st Floor, The Stage .

This event focuses on "Doro-Zome (Mud-Dyeing)," a natural dyeing technique that has been passed down for generations in Amami Oshima, Kagoshima Prefecture. We will introduce the techniques and appeal of this dyeing method, which is widely known as a traditional craft such as Oshima Tsumugi silk, through exhibits and products. In addition to the Doro-Zome clothing, denim, and shoes available for pre-sale at Isetan Shinjuku Store items from the FW25 collection will also be on display. Attendees will receive a booklet created specifically for this exhibition, "Addendum to the Dissertation / Doro-Zome (Mud-Dyeing)" (16 pages / full color / B5 size / saddle-stitched).

It's been over a decade since we first incorporated mud dyeing. While it may seem like we're just continuing the same process, in reality, we've made small adjustments with each attempt, constantly refining our techniques through trial and error, thereby expanding the possibilities of "mud dyeing" as a dyeing process. We've not only dyed things brown or black, but we've also established a new way of adding subtle texture to synthetic fiber products like nylon—something unprecedented in the history of "mud dyeing."


These initiatives require not only respect for inherited traditions but also the understanding and cooperation of artisans towards new challenges. In Japan, where kimono culture has long flourished, there are still a few remaining examples of craftsmanship that have inherited traditional handcrafting techniques. We believe that one of our missions in creating new products is to transform that charm into a form that suits the times and connect it to today's market.

Regarding the sales method on Wednesday, September 3rd

Customers wishing to enter should come to the staircase next to Aesop on the 1st floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . A lottery to determine the order of sales will be held from 10:15 AM.
(If you are late for the drawing, you will not be able to participate in the drawing, regardless of the reason.)

To alleviate congestion, priority will be given to those who possess an MI Card (including MI Card Basic) and those who have completed an online application for an MI Card. The lottery and entry process will begin with these individuals.

*Please note that applications submitted through any URL other than the one provided above will not be eligible.
*If you present your MI Card or the MI Card online application completion email screen at the time of the lottery, you will be able to participate in the priority lottery. If you do not have an MI Card, please complete your online application before the lottery start time.
*Please note that those who do not have an MI Card or who have not completed their online application by the start time of the lottery will not be able to participate in the priority lottery for any reason.
*If you do not have an MI Card, or if you have not completed your online application by the start time of the lottery, the lottery will be held after the priority lottery has finished.
*Please note that the number of winning slots may be filled depending on the number of MI Card holders and those who have completed online applications. In that case, the lottery will be terminated.
*To help alleviate congestion, we ask that customers who have finished their lottery reassemble at the time indicated on the back of their lottery ticket.
*Please note that if you are late for the reassembly time, you will be directed to the back of the line for the current session.

・Only payments made in the name of the customer who entered the venue will be considered valid.
On the day of the event, please bring one of the following official photo IDs for identity verification: driver's license, resident registration card with photo, special permanent resident certificate, passport, residence card, My Number card, or disability certificate.
• We do not allow the transfer or exchange of raffle tickets to friends, family, or anyone else. If this is discovered, you will be denied entry.
・If there are many interested buyers, you may not be selected in the lottery even if you participate. Also, even if you are selected in the lottery, there is a possibility that you will not be able to purchase the item.
・Even if you win the lottery, please be aware that it may take some time before we can contact you.
Depending on the number of people in line, we may limit the number of items you can purchase.

Novelty information
