TT , the brand launched in New York in 2017 by contemporary artist Taiga Takahashi, will be holding a pop-up shop at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 6th floor, Men's Creators section, from December 26th (Thursday) to December 30th (Monday). The Spring/Summer 2025 collection will be presented along with an installation.

Taiga Takahashi, the founder of TT, is a designer and contemporary artist who is also a collector of American vintage items, primarily from the 1920s and earlier, before the era of mass production and mass consumption, which was underpinned by American-style capitalism.
Takahashi believes that the true value of craftsmanship lies not in new things, but already within history. With this in mind, he studies each garment he collects from an archaeological perspective. He imbues his own craftsmanship with the power that has endured long periods of time, adding a new interpretation and presenting it as the TaigaTakahashi collection.
"To revive the relics of the past and excavate the archaeological artifacts of the future"—even after Takahashi's passing in April 2022, the company was renamed T.T., and its philosophy continues to be carried on.

This event will showcase a collection of the brand's signature items from the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, including leather, denim, coverall jackets, and sweatshirts, all created by researching clothing from approximately 100 years ago.

  • ◆Brand Introduction T.T. is a menswear brand whose brand concept is "to revive artifacts from the past and unearth future archaeological sites."
The designer himself has collected thousands of pieces of American vintage clothing, primarily from the 1920s to the 1950s, before mass production and mass consumption began, through antique dealers and art dealers in the Western countries where he lived since his teens.
The true value of craftsmanship may not lie in new things, but already exist within history. With this in mind, he studies the fabrics, stitching, and details of clothing that have survived through time from an archaeological perspective. He imbues his own craftsmanship with the power to overcome the continuous flow of time, reviving it in a new form for the modern age.
They envision clothing as fossils or time capsules, and aim to create "timeless clothing" that will last for 100 years into the future, using traditional Japanese techniques such as weaving, dyeing, and sewing, as well as natural materials, which are gradually disappearing.
TT's manufacturing process utilizes traditional Japanese techniques, such as dyeing methods using natural materials that have been practiced for over 1,000 years and old-fashioned power looms that still exist around the world. They pursue their craft by engaging in dialogue with artisans who carry on these techniques into the modern age.
