A BATHING APE®, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, will launch an outdoor label, A CAMPING APE, for the Spring/Summer 2023 season. From July 5th (Wed) to July 18th (Tue), a pop-up store offering a pre-sale of the collection will be open at The Stage on the 1st floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building .

To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the pop-up store will feature collaborations with practical and fashionable outdoor brands such as Helinox, Brooklyn Works, Grip Swany, GSI, Jaguy, Klean Kanteen, Pendleton, and KI-no, proposing a sophisticated camping style with a street-style feel that is uniquely BAPE®.

Here's a look at some of the products available at our pop-up store.

The collaboration items we're offering this time include a wide variety of items that we can't introduce in this article, from tents, tables, and chairs arranged in sand beige "1st CAMO," to tableware engraved with the iconic "APE HEAD," brightly colored blankets, and apparel that can be used every day.

Helinox collaboration items

This is a special edition of Helinox's iconic "ROYAL BOX" model, featuring a polyester shade with a "COLOR CAMO" pattern. The left panel features the names of both brands in white rubber print, and the back panel has a skeleton logo in rubber print. It comes with a reflective tag with a strap. The storage bag features the logos of both brands in rubber print and includes an adjustable strap.

This is a special edition model of Helinox's iconic "TACTICAL FIELD OFFICE M," featuring a polyester material with a "COLOR CAMO" pattern. It comes with a reflective tag with a strap. Like the regular line, it has zippers on three sides for easy opening and closing.

This is a special edition of Helinox's iconic "CHAIR ONE" model, featuring a polyester seat with a "COLOR CAMO" pattern. The collaboration name is printed on the front and back of the backrest, and a reflector tag is attached to the back. The storage bag that can be attached to the chair features a design with the logos of both brands rubber printed on it.

Pendleton collaboration items

A large size Native American-patterned rug made of polyester. This textile rug features an original design based on Pendleton's iconic "Tucson" pattern, incorporating the "APE HEAD" icon and expressed through jacquard weaving.

A native-patterned apron made from cotton. It features a jacquard woven textile based on Pendleton's iconic "Tucson" pattern, incorporating the "APE HEAD" icon. Straps are attached to both ends of the neck and body, with the neck strap adjustable in three stages. Patch pockets are located on the chest and both sides of the body.

These oven gloves feature a native pattern and are made from high-quality cotton. The textile uses an inkjet-printed original design based on Pendleton's iconic "Tucson" pattern, incorporating the "APE HEAD" icon. A Pendleton woven label is attached to the inside bottom, and an "APE HEAD" patterned woven label is inserted at the left edge of the opening. The entire glove features a classic diamond quilt stitch design.

Brooklyn Works collaboration items

This water jug is made of stainless steel. The front features the "APE HEAD" brand logo and the Brooklyn Works logo, both laser-engraved. This item has undergone extensive field testing and verification before being commercialized. It comes with a handle for easy carrying, making it suitable for a variety of outdoor activities.

Grip Swany collaboration items

These gun-cut gloves feature a "Swany Yellow" color scheme and are made from steerhide leather with high-tech "Kevlar" stitching. The back of the hand is embossed with the collaboration logo of the two brands. The chrome-tanned leather will mold to the shape of your hand the more you wear them.

Additionally, customers who spend ¥20,000 or more during the event will receive one bottle of the outdoor spice "Horinishi" as a novelty gift per transaction.

Customers wishing to make a purchase should come to the staircase next to Aesop on the 1st floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building .

A lottery to determine the order of entry will be held starting at 10:15 AM. (If you are late for the lottery, you will not be able to participate, regardless of the reason.)

To alleviate congestion, priority will be given to those who already possess an MI Card or who have completed an online application for an MI Card when starting the lottery and entry process.
