cantate utilizes the skilled craftsmanship of Japanese artisans and carefully selected materials to carry on rare techniques that are in danger of disappearing. Through close collaboration with Japanese artisans and producers, they are delivering the finest MADE IN JAPAN products to the world.

The cashmere suede used in British-style single leather jackets is a finely textured, beautiful material made from high-grade raw hides with a short pile. In this jacket, however, the suede side is intentionally used on the reverse side, while the surface is made of smooth leather characterized by its grain and streaky wrinkles, known as "tiger stripes." The jacket will develop a deeper color and sheen with wear, allowing you to enjoy the changing appearance over time.

This 5-gauge cardigan, made from cotton cashmere, uses "Alashan cashmere," known for its fine fibers, white color, and strong luster. It features a distressed finish that gives it a grunge feel. Unlike wool, it's not stuffy and has a smooth texture, making it a versatile sweater that can be worn even in summer.
