takes., a brand that develops apparel using "bamboo material," will open a limited-time pop-up store at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building B1F, Underwear, Socks, and Nightwear from January 18th (Wed) to January 31st (Tue) . TAKES launched in the Fall/Winter 2021 season. All items use "TAKEFU (bamboo fabric)," which is made from bamboo using a special technique to create rayon. This "TAKEFU" is surprisingly soft for a bamboo material and has a gentle warmth. It was originally developed for medical gauze due to the antibacterial properties of bamboo.
Takes has developed an original fabric by spinning "TAKEFU" with organic cotton, taking advantage of the properties of bamboo fiber, which is excellent in water absorption, moisture absorption, and heat retention.

Simple clothing with attention to texture and appearance.

Takes aims for timeless, basic designs. Their simple T-shirts feature a neckline made from the same fabric as the body, and a single stitch for a less casual feel. They're designed to look neat even when worn as an inner layer under a jacket.
