A massive release of ultra-rare vintage shoes that shoe lovers will covet! "SAFARI presents THE MUSEUM OF VINTAGE SHOES" | ISETAN Shoe Fair 2022

Safari in Koenji will be participating in the shoe fair for the fourth time. In addition to rare deadstock Alden shoes, they will be exhibiting many "legendary" shoe brands that are not available in Japan. Store manager Tajima says that they started buying dress shoes about 15 years ago.

Safari Store Manager, Yusuke Tajima
Safari is a chain of vintage shops based in Koenji. Ms. Tajima is the manager of their third store, which primarily deals in dress items. She also possesses extensive knowledge of dress shoes.

"In recent years, dress styles have become more recognized among younger generations who read magazines, leading to a rapid increase in awareness and attention to vintage shoes. Cordovan shoes, in particular, seem to hold their value well, and JM WESTON is a brand that has been gaining popularity recently. It's supported by a wide range of generations, and we're strengthening our purchasing efforts. While it's said that more people are wearing suits and other formal attire due to the trend towards casualization, it seems that leather shoes will continue to thrive. We plan to continue offering a variety of models in the future."
