Individuality is something extremely vivid.
In these turbulent times, our refined sensibilities crave something that can break through the sense of stagnation in our drastically changed society. In the realm of fashion, this could be described as a spirit of adventure and challenge, rather than settling for simplicity and basics. That's why, now more than ever, we want to wear colors and patterns that uplift our spirits and stir up a positive mindset. Takigawa Koito, who forges his own path in the world of Rakugo, a classical Japanese performing art, also desires this, which is why he feels a strong connection to the newly launched "Cano Cristales Collection" from Pelle Morbida.
The inspiration came from the Caño Cristales River, which flows through the Sierra de la Macarena National Park in Colombia, South America. The beautiful colors and unique patterns, which seem to awaken primal instincts, vividly express the individuality of men.

Boston bag: 297,000 yen (H35 x W42 x D16 cm)
I feel exhilarated by the beautiful and powerful color scheme.
The source of the captivatingly vibrant colors is the Caño Cristales River in Colombia, South America. Normally crystal clear, this river reveals its colorful form for just two weeks during the dry season, from September to November, earning it the titles of "the most beautiful river in the world" and "the river of five colors." Pelle Morbida's craftsmanship has captured this fantastical appearance in a Boston bag. High-quality cowhide leather is treated with inkjet printing and shrink embossing, and then finished with a holographic film to create a shimmering, iridescent effect.

Expressing the Colombian landscape with innovative techniques
An original pattern runs across the jet-black body. This design is based on the contour lines of the Colombian landscape, and the fabric was newly developed for this product using a special technique by a hand-printing factory in Kyoto. A water-based foaming agent is applied to the surface of the cowhide, and heat is applied to create a textured surface. In the final stage, the foaming agent is removed, and a process is applied to maintain the shape, making it a truly elaborate product.

Zip wallet: ¥38,500 (H10 x W19 x D2 cm)
It appeals to the desire to own, with a playful touch hidden within.
This lustrous Boston bag hides a delightful detail: the monogram pattern on the underside of the flap, which catches the eye as you take out your belongings. Like the tag and whistle case on the front, it depicts the contour lines of Colombia's topography. The monochrome design is sure to appeal to the playful desires of any man. The wallet he holds in his hand also features contour lines drawn on a vibrant material.
