Dorland House, a private brand of Mitsukoshi launched in the autumn/winter 2003 season by Ohga Co., Ltd., a long-established Japanese menswear company that celebrated its 100th anniversary two years ago, will be holding a leather personal order event exclusively at the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store from Wednesday, August 25th to Tuesday, September 14th.

Dorland House, which has stores nationwide, is celebrating its 18th year this year. Starting with business items centered on suits when the brand was first launched, it has consistently maintained high quality through product development that is in line with the trends and needs of the times, and through manufacturing in close cooperation with production factories. Today, it offers a wide range of high-quality items, including casual wear.



For this leather personal order event, which will be held exclusively at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, we will be offering two base items: a blouson jacket and a tailored jacket.

This versatile blouson jacket can create both a rugged and a refined look depending on how you style it.
Tailored jackets, while casual items, exude elegance through their detailed design, establishing a sophisticated adult weekend style. Both are staple items in men's fashion and have been loved by men of all ages for many years.

The leather used is high-quality Spanish lambskin, which has undergone a delicate tanning process, resulting in a soft touch and lightweight feel. By selecting and using extremely large and uniform raw hides, it is possible to create a clean finish without seams at the waist. Furthermore, hand-stitching, which is considered difficult to do with leather, is applied to the collar and sleeve attachment areas, creating a sense of luxury. The thickness and luster of the leather are well matched, creating beautiful shadows.


In addition to the classic black and brown, we've specially prepared 16 colors, including vibrant blue and pink. If you already own a black or brown leather jacket, we recommend the earth tones or fancy colors.
