The highly anticipated "Yosemite Strap" is now available in the online store. Includes men's store exclusive models and Mammut collaboration items.

The "Yosemite Strap," a smartphone strap made from extra-thick climbing rope, will be available at the Mitsukoshi Isetan online store from 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 7th. In addition to the standard model, the lineup will include a collaboration model with MAMMUT and a model exclusive Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building .

Extended Photograph Material, a camera lifestyle brand founded by Japanese photographer Hobby Izaki, created its flagship product, "Yosemite Strap," which was born from an encounter with a climber during a photo shoot in Yosemite National Park, California.

Camera straps made with authentic climbing ropes have become a topic of conversation due to their meticulous craftsmanship by skilled Japanese artisans, as well as their durability and ease of use, earning them the title of "the ultimate camera strap."


In 2019, leveraging their advanced technology, they released the "Yosemite Mobile Strap," an improved smartphone version based on the themes of "A travel essential. A cashless everyday life. Never drop it again. Never break it again."

This strap, featuring a sturdy climbing rope and rope end connectors capable of withstanding up to 20kg, is generating significant buzz due to its ease of use—simply clipping it onto your smartphone case—its fashionable design that makes it a stylish accessory, and its high-quality Japanese craftsmanship. The included leather hook allows you to attach keychains and other accessories, making it possible to carry your essential belongings with just this one strap.

This time, Mitsukoshi Isetan Online Store will be releasing a limited edition model available only at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building featuring gold hardware that complements fashionable styling, in khaki and black. A limited number of collaboration models with the Swiss premium outdoor brand Mammut will also be available. Be sure to check out the diverse color lineup, including the standard models.
